Moodle is a widely used learning management system that the EISD Instructional Technology Department employs to help teachers and administrators learn instructional technology skills through self-paced online learning. Our digital learning team is developing a range of courses that can help faculty and staff alike learn how to use technology to streamline everyday tasks and more efficiently integrate technology in the classroom and the workplace.

Moodle’s self-paced online courses are designed to be flexible and accessible, allowing employees to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule. This makes it easy for educators to fit learning into their busy schedules and to learn at a pace that works for them. These digital learning courses are engaging and interactive, with a range of multimedia resources and tools that can help learners learn more effectively.

While the Instructional Technology Moodle site is an excellent tool for educators who want to improve and learn innovative technology skills through self-paced online learning, many of the courses are useful to staff members in non-instructional roles. The Instructional Technology department considers this tool to be a work-in-progress, and we will continue to add and update content to help the employees of Edgewood ISD accomplish their goals and improve their workflows.
